Start with the job the pen has to do. Round Stic® and stick pens are the workhorse for tradeshow handouts, mailers, and open-house giveaways where volume matters more than heft. Clic Stic® and other retractables feel like a step up while staying under a dollar. Grip models earn their extra cost when people will actually sit and write — training sessions, clinics, bank counters. Gel pens and the Z4®+ suit client gifts and executive kits, and the 4-Color™ is the one people keep because it does something their own pen does not.
Two decoration methods cover the catalog. Screen print handles one- and two-color logos and is what most orders use. A full-color wrap on the Digital Clic Stic® and gel models reproduces gradients, photos, and complex artwork. Most pens imprint on the barrel; several also take a second imprint on the clip, which is useful when you want a logo on one side and a phone number or URL on the other. Send vector artwork (AI, EPS, or PDF) when you have it — we will redraw a raster logo if not. Exact PMS matching is available for an additional charge.
Specialty models exist for specific programs. PrevaGuard® has an antimicrobial additive built into the plastic, which is why dental offices, clinics, and front desks ask for it. Ecolutions® pens are made with recycled content for sustainability requirements. Brite Liner™ highlighters, markers, and mechanical pencils cover the cases where a ballpoint is not the right tool at all.
Standard production runs about 3–5 business days after you approve the proof, and most items have a rush option if you tell us the in-hands date up front. Reorders with unchanged artwork skip the setup step entirely, so annual programs get cheaper after the first run. If you are not sure which pen fits, tell us the audience, the quantity, and the budget per piece, and we will suggest two or three.
